As part of the Emerging Innovation Summit 2019 (EIS'19), the International Innovative Research Network (iiRNet), in partnership with the Australian-Chinese Association of Scientists and Entrepreneurs (ACASE) and ChineseVC, has embarked on a new initiative “The Emerging Innovation Cup 2019” , which is a tech-startup competition designed for all Australian tech startups to participate and thrive. We believe innovation and entrepreneurship are great force in making the world a better place. We are encouraging startups with innovative ideas and disrupting business models from all corners of Australia (and the world) to participate in this competition and take your businesses to the next stage. The short-listed teams will have the opportunity to talk face-to-face with potential investors, VC funds and industry leaders at EIS'19 and the gala networking event. How to apply? Large number of oral presentations
To ensure every innovator from any location in the world, from students to established innovator leaders, has an opportunity to present their newest study at the EIS'19, the program will include a large number of oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts, distributed in parallel mini-symposia. Each 3D poster presenter will have a chance to give a one-minute flash talk to attract the summit participants to their poster.
Innovators – industries - investors interactions EIS’19 will provide opportunities for innovators, relevant industries and investors to network in formal and informal contexts. There will be many talks given by business and industry representatives and panel discussions will take place throughout the summit. Innovators can give five minutes pitches (selected from submitted pitch abstract) to a panel of industries and investors to showcase their innovation. This will be followed by a cocktail networking event where innovators, industry representatives and investors can have informal discussions.
Grants and awards To facilitate delegate attendance, EIS'19 will offer grants and awards directed to researchers from developing countries, students and early career researchers and female delegates with young children and that require childcare.
